Pickles Soft Fuzz

A brushed alpaca and wool yarn Brushed alpaca. Pickles Soft Fuzz is lightly spun from a single strand of a blend of alpaca and wool. This makes the yarn lighter in weight than pure brushed alpaca. In addition, it gains resilience and strength. This means that the garments you knit keep their shape, are soft to the touch and have a matt and exclusive finish. Since the fibers are thin and soft, the garments may release some fibers. These are easily removed with your fingers and the garment is as good as new. The yarn is perfect on a 3 mm needle for tightly knitted garments and up to 6 mm for an airy brushed look. We also use the yarn as an alpaca liner for other thin yarns. Then lay the garment straight on the floor and stretch/block it into the shape you want. The garment will dry in a few hours.
