Organic and plant dyed! Cotton yarn. Pickles Organic Cotton is a beautiful plant-dyed artisan yarn from Peru. The way it's spun with one thick and one thin thread means that the soft cotton fibers really come to life, and the garments you knit can of course be worn directly on the skin. It's also lovely for baby blankets We knit it on 3.5 mm to 5 mm needles with single thread, or on thicker needles together with a guide thread. The fibers come from Peru, and the production of this yarn helps to create a sustainable livelihood for families in the poorest parts of Peru. The color palette is made from local plants, so the yarn should be washed carefully to preserve the colors. It won't shrink if you boil it, but the colors may darken. They can also be bleached by the sun, so be careful with your garments. Then lay the garment straight on the floor and stretch/block it into the shape you want. The garment will dry in a few hours.
